Kuramathi at 2 km (1 mi) long is the largest of six islands that belong to the small natural atoll, located a few miles off NE Ari Atoll, known as Ross, Rasdhoo, or Rasdu Atoll, which administratively belongs to Alif Alif Atoll.
Kuramathi is one of eight holiday resort islands owned and managed by Universal Enterprises Limited, a Maldivian company. There is a sandbank on the west of the island which is only visible when the tide is low.

Kuramathi can be reached by either via seaplane or by speedboat. The seaplane ride takes about 20 minutes and offers an unforgettable bird’s eye view of the stunning atolls below. For travelling by speedboat, representatives from Kuramathi will receive you and direct you to the boat as soon as it’s ready to depart. Boat transfers take approximately 90 minutes and run twice daily at set times.
