Meedhupparu is a coral island on the east of the Northern Maalhosmadulhu Atoll in the Maldives.
Native wildlife consists mostly of crows, fruitbats, crabs and geckos.
Following the El Niño current that decimated the Maldives' surface coral in the late 1990s, the lagoon surrounding the island is full of dead coral, but is now interspersed with lots of new growth and the sea life is returning. At depths of 10 metres species include rays, sharks, wrasse, octopus, squid and groupers.
Meedhupparu is a resort island favoured largely by Italian and British visitors. The island was for the most part unaffected by the tsunami of December 2004.

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is located in Raa Atoll, 136 km to the north of the capital, Male’ and is accessed by direct seaplane flight or domestic flight followed by a 40 minute speedboat journey.
Seaplane Transfer:
The seaplane transfer to Adaaran Select Meedhupparu takes about 40 to 45 minutes. The flights are operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA). You will be entitled to use Adaaran Select Meedhupparu exclusive Lounge at TMA. The flight times are subject to weather conditions and schedules may involve one short stop en route. Domestic flight Transfer:
The domestic flight, operated by domestic airlines, FLYME which operates regular daily flights from Male’ to Dharavandhoo, available during day and night time hours. The comfortable flights are followed by a 40 minutes speedboat trip, organized by Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Island and visitors can use Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Lounge at the Airport.
